World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Tuesday in Makun, Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred along a busy section of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. The vehicle conveying Joshua reportedly collided with another car, though the exact circumstances are still under investigation.
An eyewitness who spoke to Newsmen and took part in the rescue efforts said Joshua sustained minor injuries, while two people were confirmed dead at the scene.
Fans have taken to social media to express concern, as local authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
