A church leader, Rev Ezekiel Dachomo, has described Nigeria’s Muslim President and Vice President as “complete genocide” against Christians in the political space.
Rev Dachomo, the Regional Leader of the Church of Christ in Nations, made the remark on Monday during an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief.
He was speaking while reacting to allegations of genocide against Christians in the country.
He said: “Shettima is a Muslim, the President is a Muslim. Is that not complete genocide to Christians in the political world? The way forward is to remove Shettima and I stand on it.
“They are displaying an Islamic agenda. They want to control the whole country. All Christians should wake up from their slumber and face the Bible because these people want to make every Christian to become Muslims by force.
“We don’t want to sit on it. We have seen it. Can you see this thing hanging? Look at how it’s moving towards Kwara. Can’t you see what’s happening? Did Kwara people kill their cow or do something? And they will paint it that it is reprisal.
“We cannot continue to stay quiet because I can’t hand over my grandchildren to Islam. There’s an agenda of these Islamic terrorists to take over the country and the nation is sleeping and doesn’t want to use those who want to help tackle this insecurity,” he said.
