Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho expresses his profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Alao, the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, on the loss of his cherished mother, Deaconess Margaret Oyeronke Alao.
The passing of Deaconess Alao at the age of 81 marks the end of a life dedicated to faith, service, and love for her family and community. As a devout Christian and partner in ministry with her late husband, Pastor Amos Alao, she exemplified a life of sacrifice and devotion to the work of God.
Mama Alao’s departure is a great loss not only to the family but also to the entire Yoruba community, as her life was a beacon of faith, humility, and service. Her commitment to her faith and family serves as a testament to the values of resilience and dedication.
Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho acknowledges the deep pain of losing a beloved mother, a pain that words can scarcely soothe. He prays for God’s comfort to surround Oba Francis Alao, the royal family, and all who mourn this irreplaceable loss.
He also extends his prayers for strength and unity within the family as they honor the life and memory of a virtuous woman who touched many lives.
“As we grieve this monumental loss, let us find solace in the knowledge that Mama Alao has completed her divine mission on earth and now rests in the loving arms of the Almighty. May her gentle soul continue to find peace in the eternal presence of our Lord,” said Dr. Chief Sunday Igboho.
He further calls upon the Yoruba people and the larger community to join in prayers and support for the Olugbon and his family during this trying time.
