Biafra Republic Government In-Exile Prime Minister Simon Ekpa

The Prime Minister of Biafra Republic Government in-Exile (BRGIE), Simon Ekpa has declared lockdown in Enugu over the killing of a popular Oghene musician, known as Igbo Jah.

Igbo Jah was reportedly shot by operatives attached to the Anti-Cult unit of the Enugu State Police Command on Friday, in an incident that attracted wide outrage among youths in the southeastern Nigerian state, and resulted in protests.

Finland-based Ekpa said Enugu State would be on lockdown on Tuesday to fish out Igbo Jah’s assailants.

“The entire Enugu State will be under lockdown on Tuesday, 29 October 2024; this day will be used to fish out the killers of this innocent man. Enough is enough”, the PM stated.
