According to eyewitness accounts shared with Koikimedia, the incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Adedeji was said to have returned home unexpectedly on Saturday night before his death.
Sources revealed that the deceased worked in Jakara, Lagos, and had earlier informed his wife that he would not be coming home that Saturday. However, while at work, Adedeji reportedly received a phone call in the presence of his employer.
Shortly after the call ended, a message reportedly appeared on his phone with the sender’s name saved as “Mr. Yemi, My Neighbour.”
