Anthony Joshua, the former two‑time unified heavyweight champion from Britain, is set to face YouTube star Jake Paul in a professional boxing match next month in the United States.
Matchroom Boxing announced on Monday that the 36‑year‑old Joshua will meet the YouTuber‑turned‑boxer at Miami’s Kaseya Center. The contest will be eight rounds of three minutes each.
It replaces Paul’s earlier matchup with lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, an exhibition fight that was cancelled earlier this month.
Paul, 28, defeated former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in Texas in November 2024.
Since losing to British compatriot Daniel Dubois in their IBF title fight at Wembley in September 2023, Joshua hasn’t fought again.
