The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course will kick off nationwide on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, said the exercise will take place across all 37 orientation camps in the country.

Registration for Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) begins on January 21 and closes at midnight on Friday, January 23.

“The Swearing-in Ceremony will hold on Friday, January 23, while the Orientation Course will conclude with a Closing Ceremony on Tuesday, February 10, 2026,” the statement added.

Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all PCMs safe travels to their states of deployment and advised them to avoid travelling at night.
