This development follows a dramatic twist in the ongoing sexual harassment saga involving Natasha and Senate President Godswill Akpabio

Suspended Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs Chairperson, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has dismissed as false the claims made against her by United States-based activist, Dr Sandra Duru, also known as Professor Mgbeke.

Natasha, who represents Kogi Central under the PDP, said she would address the “unfounded allegations” in due course.

In a statement, she said, “I have carefully watched a livestream by Sandra C. Duru on Facebook dated May 1st, 2025. The content, including the manipulated voice effects attributed to me, are entirely untrue and crafted to serve Sandra Duru’s ulterior motive of executing a script allegedly linked to Senator Godswill Akpabio.”

She added that the derogatory remarks against Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Dr Abiola, FIDA, and Nigerians — which described them as “gullible and hungry” — were fabrications.

“It was only through recent findings that I realised Sandra Duru is the same person who operated the Facebook account under the name Prof. Mgbeke,” she said.

This development follows a dramatic twist in the ongoing sexual harassment saga involving Natasha and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

KoikiMedia reported that Duru had alleged during a Facebook live session that Natasha offered her N200 million to falsely accuse Akpabio of organ harvesting and link him to the death of a young girl.

She claimed to have submitted phone recordings and other evidence to US and international authorities for forensic examination.

The activist urged the Nigeria Police, Inter-Parliamentary Union, and global security agencies to investigate Natasha’s role in the allegations and what she purportedly knows about the murder of Iniubong Umoren.
