The development was disclosed in a post by former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, who said Yusuf made his intention known on Wednesday during a visit to Katsina State Governor, Dr Dikko Radda.

Yusuf Buhari, son of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Sandamu/Daura/Mai’Adua Federal Constituency in Katsina State in the upcoming general elections.

The development was disclosed in a post by former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, who said Yusuf made his intention known on Wednesday during a visit to Katsina State Governor, Dr Dikko Radda.

According to him, Yusuf formally informed the governor of his decision to vie for the federal constituency seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
