A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has said President Bola Tinubu knows the All Progressives Congress, APC, cannot score 20 per cent if the 2027 elections are free and fair.

Olawepo-Hashim made the claim during a live interview on ‘Sunday Politics’ on Channels Television.

Speaking on the 2027 general elections, he said the APC faces more internal challenges than the PDP.

“If the opposition is dead and buried as they claim, why are they afraid of next year’s elections? All the internet and data experts praise President Tinubu as a strategist. He has done the polls and knows that in a free and fair election, the APC cannot get 20 per cent of the votes.

“Even within the APC, they know who is ready to betray them. I can tell you, they have more problems than the PDP,” he said.
