The announcement came in a communiqué issued after the 105th meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee, which took place on Monday in Abuja.

A segment of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that its national convention will hold on March 28 and 29, 2026, in Abuja, aimed at electing a new National Working Committee and other statutory bodies of the party.

The announcement came in a communiqué issued after the 105th meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee, which took place on Monday in Abuja.

The statement was jointly signed by Abdulrahman Muhammed, National Chairman of the Caretaker Working Committee, and Samuel Anyanwu, the party’s National Secretary.

The communiqué confirmed that the convention will serve as a platform to elect members of the National Working Committee and other key organs of the PDP.
