Masoyinbo Host Hints at Possible Tinubu Appearance on Yoruba Quiz Show

The creator and host of the popular Yoruba-language quiz show Masoyinbo, Olalekan Fabilola, has suggested that President Bola Tinubu could one day appear on the programme following repeated requests from fans.

Fabilola, popularly known as “Olalekan,” shared a message from a fan on his X account on Saturday, noting that he receives similar requests frequently.

Responding to the appeal, he wrote, “I get messages like this every day, at least 20 a day. Nothing is impossible.”

The fan had asked him to invite President Tinubu to participate in the show, which promotes Yoruba language and culture.

Although Fabilola did not confirm any plans for the President to appear, his response sparked excitement among followers, many of whom interpreted it as a sign that such an invitation could become a reality.

Masoyinbo, which means “Don’t Speak English,” is a Yoruba-language game show designed to encourage the use and preservation of the Yoruba language.

Contestants are required to answer 10 questions entirely in Yoruba without using English or any other foreign language.

Successful participants can win cash prizes.
Over the years, the programme has featured several well-known Nigerians, including actress Funke Akindele, rapper Falz, comedian Ali Baba, actors Femi Adebayo and Lateef Adedimeji, and Fuji musician Saheed Osupa.

Broadcast on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and DStv, the show has gained a strong following for blending entertainment with cultural preservation.
