Suspected bandits on Saturday morning attacked a Police Mobile Force camp in Tenebo community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing three officers and injuring two others.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, throwing the community into panic as gunshots were reportedly heard across the area.

The attackers were said to have stormed the camp unexpectedly, overpowering officers on duty before carrying out the assault.

The Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, Ejide Tohun, confirmed the attack and said further details would be released later.
