Dagogo had approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the APC’s planned convention, claiming he was unfairly blocked from contesting for National Vice-Chairman, South-South, despite paying N5.1 million for the nomination form

Fubara Dagogo, a senior chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bonny, has been indefinitely suspended by the party’s Ward 4 executive committee for alleged anti-party activities and gross misconduct.
Dagogo had approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the APC’s planned convention, claiming he was unfairly blocked from contesting for National Vice-Chairman, South-South, despite paying N5.1 million for the nomination form.
He asked the court to declare him eligible, suspend the zonal congress, and nullify any election held without his participation, while seeking N100 million in damages.
The Ward 4 committee accused him of breaching the APC constitution, flouting party rules, disobeying lawful directives, and making statements that demean party leaders.
Chairman Richard Ibani said the decision followed a meeting on March 16 and was endorsed by Secretary Donald Jumbo and 21 other members.
The committee cited violations of Article 21.2 (I), (II), and (VII) of the APC Constitution (2022, as amended).
They warned, “Your actions show disregard for the party’s constitution and directives. Your suspension is effective immediately, and we request the state secretariat to endorse this resolution.”
The suspension deepens Dagogo’s ongoing battle with the APC over the zonal convention and nomination process.
