Giants Shut Out Mariners 7-0 in First Game After All-Star Break

The San Francisco Giants returned from the All-Star break with a dominant 7-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Friday night in the opening game of a three-match interleague series.

Willy Adames led the way with a seventh-inning grand slam, while Bryce Eldridge added a two-run home run.

The win extended the Giants’ winning streak to three games.
Pitcher Landen Roupp delivered an impressive performance, allowing just two hits over seven innings while walking three batters and striking out two.

The Giants broke the deadlock in the fifth inning when Eldridge blasted a two-run homer to give San Francisco a 2-0 lead.

They added another run in the sixth inning following a Mariners fielding error.

San Francisco sealed the victory in the seventh inning when Adames launched a grand slam to right-center field, stretching the lead to 7-0.

Mariners starter Bryce Miller gave up three runs, two of them earned, on seven hits over 5â…” innings.

He struck out six and walked one batter.
The victory marked a strong start to the second half of the season for the Giants, who matched their longest winning streak of the year.
