Two persons have been reportedly killed in a clash involving suspected Fulani herdsmen in Agudugbun, Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

According to a source who spoke with Koikimedia on Monday, the incident occurred in the early hours of the day and resulted in the deaths of two individuals, while two Fulani men were arrested and taken into police custody.

The source further said there is a significant population of Fulani herders in the area, where many are involved in cattle rearing and reside within the community.

However, details surrounding the cause of the conflict remain unclear and efforts by Koikimedia to obtain a reaction from the Lagos State Police Command proved unsuccessful, as calls placed were not answered at the time of filing this report.
