United States President Donald Trump says he is set to make a final decision on a possible agreement with Iran aimed at extending the ceasefire and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

However, Iran says no final deal has been reached.

Tehran also stressed that it would judge any agreement by actions, not promises.

Trump listed key US demands, including that Iran must never develop nuclear weapons and that the Strait of Hormuz remain open to global shipping.

Iranian negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran would not act until the US takes practical steps first.
