Yoruba Nation is ongoing. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise,” he stated, adding that he will soon resume full online engagement with supporters and the wider public

The spokesperson to Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, Mr. Olayomi Koiki, has reaffirmed that the Yoruba Nation movement remains active and ongoing, urging supporters not to be discouraged by speculations or contrary narratives.
In a statement shared today via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Koiki emphasized that the movement toward Yoruba self-determination continues to progress steadily.
“Yoruba Nation is ongoing. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise,” he stated, adding that he will soon resume full online engagement with supporters and the wider public.
Koiki reiterated that Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho remains a central figure in the movement, alongside respected historian and elder statesman Banji Akintoye, whom he described as a guiding intellectual force.
“Anyone not happy with the development of things can just stay away and watch as things develop” We must protect our land with full force because Fulani terrorist won’t stop coming even before we get our Yoruba Nation”.
He stressed that both leaders continue to represent the aspirations of many Yoruba people seeking structural reforms and greater regional autonomy.
Addressing ongoing security concerns in parts of Yorubaland, Koiki called for vigilance and collective responsibility in protecting communities. He expressed concern over insecurity in rural areas, particularly in forests and farming communities, noting that fear and safety challenges have disrupted agricultural activities in some regions.
According to him, the inability of some farmers to safely access their farmlands has contributed to food insecurity and economic hardship among local populations.
He urged Yoruba communities to remain united and proactive in safeguarding lives and property while advocating lawful and organized approaches to addressing security challenges.
The statement further reflected dissatisfaction with broader national development issues, highlighting concerns over healthcare delivery, education standards, security, social welfare, and job opportunities.
‘Nigeria remains undeveloped country, not benefiting our yoruba people who are suffering from
Healthcare
Education
Security
Welfare
Jobs opportunities”
Koiki argued that many Yoruba people continue to face economic and social difficulties under the current national framework.
He maintained that the Yoruba Nation movement seeks long-term structural solutions aimed at improving governance, economic empowerment, and social stability within the region.
Koiki concluded by assuring supporters that further updates and strategic communications will follow as the movement advances its objectives.
