Trossard Set for Besiktas Move After Arsenal Agree Deal

Arsenal have agreed a deal with Turkish club Besiktas for the permanent transfer of Belgian forward Leandro Trossard.

The Premier League champions confirmed the agreement on Tuesday, stating that Trossard has been granted permission to travel to Istanbul for a medical examination and to complete the final details of the move.

The club said a further announcement will be made once the transfer is officially completed.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 in a deal worth around £27 million, including add-ons.

During his time at the Emirates, he helped the Gunners win their first Premier League title in 22 years and also lifted the FA Community Shield in 2023.

The Belgian international played an important role in Arsenal’s journey to the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final.

He also impressed for Belgium at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring twice in the group stage before the team’s quarter-final exit to Spain.

Besiktas welcomed the winger to Turkey on Tuesday, posting photos of his arrival in Istanbul as the club moves closer to completing the transfer.
