Timi Dakolo Threatens Legal Action Over £4,106 Debt Claim

Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has denied claims that he owes UK-based entertainment company Revolve Entertainment £4,106 in expenses linked to a planned United Kingdom tour.

In a statement released through his lawyers on July 18, 2026, Dakolo described the allegations as false and defamatory.

His legal team said a written performance agreement clearly placed responsibility for venue bookings, production, visa-related costs, flights, accommodation, and transportation on the promoter.

The lawyers explained that the proposed UK tour was cancelled because the promoter allegedly failed to meet key production requirements, particularly in sound, lighting, and technical arrangements needed for a professional live performance.

They also accused Revolve Entertainment and its representative, Otis Ayodele Kubeyinje, popularly known as “Baddest DJ Timmy,” of making defamatory statements on social media and damaging Dakolo’s reputation.

Dakolo’s legal representatives demanded the removal of the alleged defamatory posts, a public retraction, and a written apology within seven days.

They warned that failure to comply could lead to legal action in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
