SAY YES TO IRUN EKUN SECURITY NETWORK

Protecting Lives. Safeguarding Communities. Supporting Security Efforts.

The Irun Ekun Security Network, established by Yoruba human rights activist Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, is an initiative focused on strengthening community security and supporting efforts to protect lives and property across South-West Nigeria.

The security network is positioned as a community-based response to growing concerns over banditry, kidnapping, violent crime and other security challenges confronting residents and communities in the region.

Its supporters believe that communities should play a constructive role in protecting their neighbourhoods while working within the law and cooperating with recognised government security agencies.

The initiative therefore seeks to complement existing security efforts by promoting vigilance, timely information sharing and community participation in the fight against criminal activities.

The call to support Irun Ekun Security Network is also a call for greater protection of vulnerable communities and for stronger measures to safeguard farmers, families, businesses, travellers and other residents whose livelihoods and safety may be threatened by insecurity.

At a time when communities across the country are demanding effective responses to insecurity, initiatives that promote lawful community participation and cooperation with security authorities can play an important role in strengthening public safety.

Any further attempt by any individual, entity, organisation, blogger, or other platform to label, misrepresent, or discredit the Iru Ekun Security Network may be regarded as contrary to the interests of national security, peace, and the well-being of communities in Nigeria, particularly in Yorubaland.

Such actions may also attract appropriate clarification or response through lawful and established channels.

SAY YES TO PROTECTION OF LIVES AND PROPERTY.

SAY YES TO A SAFER SOUTH-WEST.
