Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has said he wants to face fellow musician Terry G in a celebrity boxing match after his upcoming rematch with actor Charles Okocha.
Speaking on Rubbin’ Minds on Channels Television, Portable dismissed suggestions that he wanted to fight social media critic VeryDarkMan, insisting that Terry G is his preferred opponent.
He said a fight between them would attract attention and help revive interest in Terry G’s career.
Portable also revealed plans for an international music tour after his bout with Okocha, with stops in the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa.
The singer disclosed that he has already received ₦50 million ahead of the rematch and said the total prize money for the fight is ₦150 million.
He expressed confidence that he would defeat Okocha when they meet on July 31, 2026.
The rematch was arranged after Okocha activated a rematch clause following Portable’s victory in their first encounter.
Both fighters have intensified preparations, with Okocha training alongside heavyweight champion Moses Itauma, while Portable continues to train with WBA Africa lightweight champion Taiwo “Esehpo” Agbaje.
Portable has previously recorded wins over singer Speed Darlington and celebrity bodyguard Kelvin Power in exhibition boxing matches.
However, he suffered his first boxing defeat in May 2026 when content creator Carter Efe beat him by unanimous decision at the Chaos in the Ring event.
