Abuja – A popular crossdresser, popularly referred to as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ was reportedly found dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory on Thursday morning. 

Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, confirmed that the authorities are aware of the situation and presently investigating the matter, gathering additional information and facts to shed more light on the incident.

“I am with the CP and that is what they are currently working on. I will call you back once I get more details,” she told investigative news outlet, SaharaReporters.
