Philanthropist Musa Audu Declares Support for Tinubu’s Second-Term Bid

Renowned medical doctor and internationally recognised philanthropist, Musa Audu, has declared his support for President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office, expressing confidence in the President’s ability to promote political stability, economic growth and national development.

Audu said Tinubu had the capacity to lead Nigeria towards lasting political stability, a predictable economic environment, improved human capital development and modern infrastructure that meets international standards.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the philanthropist said the President could achieve these objectives by working with Nigerians who were committed to fairness, justice and equitable distribution of the country’s resources.

“President Tinubu, in his determination to take Nigeria to greater heights, is capable of working with all right-thinking Nigerians who believe in equity before the law, fairness in the allocation of the commonwealth, and justice for all without discrimination,” Audu stated.

Beyond his endorsement of the President, Audu also commended the Kwara State Government, describing its performance as the best since the beginning of Nigeria’s current democratic era.

He praised Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who is also the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and the Sardauna of the Ilorin Emirate, for promoting the principles of equity and equality in governance.

According to Audu, the governor’s commitment to fairness and equal treatment for all groups, regardless of their numerical strength, reflects principles that are consistent with divine law.

He maintained that such an approach to governance was timely and necessary for fostering unity, fairness and peaceful coexistence among different groups in the state.

The philanthropist also commended the leadership of the Kwara State House of Assembly under Speaker Saliu Danladi, who is identified in the statement as the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for the 2027 election.

Audu further declared his support for the New Kwara South project and endorsed all APC candidates contesting elections in the district in 2027.

His comments come as political activities and alignments gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political leaders and stakeholders expressing their positions on the leadership of the country and their respective states.

Audu’s endorsement reflects his confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and his support for the APC’s political ambitions at both the federal and state levels.
