London – The Nigerian community in the United Kingdom is mourning the loss of Prudence Daniel-Obia, a 36-year-old pregnant woman, who died on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Prudence, who was expecting a set of triplets, became pregnant late last year and was eagerly anticipating the future.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of a Nigerian in the UK who tragically died on Friday, the 21st of June, 2024. We’re raising funds in memory of Prudence Daniel-Obia,” the community said.
With her new immigration status, she was excited about becoming a mother and starting a family with her beloved husband.
Tragically, just three days after celebrating her 36th birthday, Prudence went to bed and never woke up.
In the wake of this devastating loss, the Nigerian community in the UK is reaching out for support.
“Please consider donating to help the family cover the burial expenses and provide some relief to her grieving family. Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant difference during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity,” the community said in a statement.
