A man reportedly stabbed his ex-wife to death, and k!lled himself in Igede-Ekiti, Ekiti State, South-West Nigeria.

According to sources, the lady had two children for the man before leaving him and travelling out of Igede Ekiti.

She came to Igede-Ekiti for a function and the man invited the lady to come and see one of the two children that was with him, claiming that the child was sick.

The lady, who was accompanied by a second individual to the man’s house, entered the house and met her death after the man stabbed her severally.

After ensuring that she was dead, the unidentified man also stabbed himself in the abdomen and took sniper, sources said.

Police could not be reached for comments.
