In a shocking incident, kidnappers stormed the popular Oja Alata market in Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. yesterday, Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Usman, the Chairman of Oja Alata market, was reportedly abducted and taken to an unknown destination. The motive behind the abduction remains unclear, and there has been no official communication from the kidnappers as of now.
