American Boxer Hannah Rapp Dies at 26 After Cycling Accident

Rapp recently challenged Tiara Brown for the WBC featherweight title. Before that bout, she had built an impressive professional record, winning eight of her first nine fights and claiming the North American Boxing Federation featherweight championship.

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman paid tribute to Rapp, describing her as an outstanding boxer and a valued member of the boxing community.

He expressed condolences to her family, friends and team.

Authorities said 31-year-old Charles Medina has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with the incident.
