Police Declare Kano Man Wanted Over Alleged Criminal Conspiracy, Cheating

The Nigeria Police Force, Zone One Command, Kano, has declared 37-year-old Usman Ibrahim wanted over allegations of criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.

The wanted notice was issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police and made available to Punch on Tuesday by the Zone One Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi.

The police described Ibrahim as dark-complexioned, with a round face and black eyes, while his occupation was listed as unknown.

His last known address was No. 14, Layin Jaji-Majigama, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

The police urged members of the public with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.

“The wanted notice was issued in reference to Force Directive CID No. 48, which provides details of rewards for information leading to the arrest of persons declared wanted under the directive.

“The police urged anyone who sees Ibrahim to facilitate his arrest and hand him over to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano,” the statement said.

The police bulletin listed criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace as the alleged offences against Ibrahim.
