Funke Akindele’s Absence From Kamo State’s Movie Premiere Sparks Online Reactions

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has become the subject of online discussion after she was noticeably absent from the premiere of her protégé, skit maker Akinyoola Ayoola, popularly known as Kamo State.

Kamo held the premiere of his debut cinema movie, Star Lomo, in Lagos on Sunday, but Akindele was not among the personalities who attended the event.

Her absence attracted attention from some social media users because of the close professional relationship the actress and the skit maker have maintained over the years.

Despite the speculation, there is no confirmed evidence that Funke Akindele and Kamo State have had a disagreement or fallen out.
