The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw will be held on Wednesday night as Premier League clubs and lower-division sides continue their pursuit of the domestic trophy.
Eleven clubs have already secured their places in the last 16, while five remaining spots will be decided through the outstanding third-round fixtures.
The draw is scheduled to take place shortly after Manchester United’s third-round meeting with Brighton.
Pien Meulensteen will host the proceedings, with former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and ex-Aston Villa captain Ashley Young set to assist with drawing the balls.
Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Newcastle United, Chelsea and Bradford City were among the first clubs to book their places in the fourth round after winning their respective third-round matches.
Five more teams advanced on Tuesday night, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Fulham, Brentford and Peterborough United all securing victories.
Arsenal produced a strong attacking display to defeat Ipswich Town 4-2 away from home, securing their place in the next round.
Liverpool also progressed after beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1.
Fulham came through a five-goal thriller against West Ham United, winning 3-2, while Brentford recorded a narrow 2-1 victory over Reading.
Peterborough United had to rely on a penalty shootout to eliminate Barnsley after the two sides played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in normal time.
Attention now turns to four more third-round matches scheduled for Wednesday, with several clubs still fighting for a place in the last 16.
Everton will host Wolves, while Fleetwood Town will take on Sheffield United. Coventry City will welcome Aston Villa, with the Premier League side aiming to secure progression to the next stage.
Manchester United will also be in action, hosting Brighton in a fixture that will determine another fourth-round participant.
The final third-round match will be played on Thursday, when defending champions Manchester City welcome Championship side Norwich City.
Because the Manchester City-Norwich City fixture will take place after the fourth-round draw, the winner will be represented by a placeholder during Wednesday night’s proceedings.
The final identity of the 16th team will therefore not be confirmed until Thursday’s match is completed.
The fourth-round ties are scheduled to take place during the week commencing October 26, with the competition entering a stage where Premier League clubs will increasingly face each other alongside the remaining lower-league contenders.
With several top-flight teams already through, the next round is expected to produce a number of potentially high-profile encounters as clubs continue their campaigns for one of English football’s major domestic trophies.
