Apple Reclaims Crown as World’s Largest Company by Market Value

Apple has regained its position as the world’s most valuable company, overtaking chipmaker Nvidia after a decline in Nvidia’s market value.

The technology giant is now valued at approximately $4.88 trillion, slightly ahead of Nvidia’s $4.86 trillion.

The achievement marks Apple’s return to the top spot for the first time in more than a year.

Analysts say the shift reflects changing investor sentiment in the artificial intelligence sector. While Nvidia benefited from strong demand for AI chips, investors are increasingly focusing on companies that can turn AI technology into products and services that generate revenue.

Apple recently introduced an upgraded version of Siri, its AI-powered assistant, with improved capabilities, including better understanding of user context, access to real-time web information, and the ability to perform more complex tasks.

The company’s rise comes ahead of its upcoming quarterly earnings report and as Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook prepares to hand leadership of the company to John Ternus in September.
