The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the names of candidates who successfully passed the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 for the 2024/2025 paramilitary recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, the Board’s Secretary, retired Major General Abdulmalik Jibril, announced that successful candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process, which includes physical screening and verification of documents.
The recruitment exercise covers the following agencies:
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
Federal Fire Service (FFS)
Applicants who participated in the CBT are advised to visit the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to check their application status.
Candidates must log in using the application number they received during registration.
Those shortlisted will be required to upload their credentials and choose their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.
The Board urged applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal.
Jibril also emphasized that the recruitment process is completely free of charge.
He warned applicants not to pay money to any individual, agent, group, or organization claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, document uploads, screening venue allocation, or final selection.
He advised the public to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons claiming to represent the Board.
According to him, all official information regarding the recruitment exercise will only be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the recruitment exercise in a transparent, credible, and merit-based manner, in line with established recruitment guidelines.
