The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced that its National Secretariat will be temporarily closed for the end-of-year holidays, with full operations resuming in the new year.

In a Tuesday statement, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the Secretariat will shut on December 23, 2025, and reopen on January 5, 2026.

Abdullahi noted that only essential skeletal services will be available during the closure, while all other official activities will be suspended to allow staff and party officials observe Christmas and New Year celebrations.

“This is to inform the public that the African Democratic Congress National Secretariat will close for the year on 23rd December 2025 and will resume full operations on 5th January 2026,” he said.

The ADC expressed gratitude to its members, partners, and supporters for their loyalty and cooperation throughout the year, noting that their support remains key to the party’s growth and stability.

“The ADC sincerely appreciates the continued support of its members, partners, and well-wishers, and extends warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” the statement added.

The party also reaffirmed its commitment to its ideals and democratic engagement as it prepares for activities in the coming year.
