Three people were killed and another was injured on Friday night after a three-vehicle crash in Panorama City, authorities said.
The fatal collision was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m. in the 9300 block of North Woodman Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a 35-year-old man was trapped inside a van and was freed by firefighters. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The 35-year-old man was in the van with a 30-year-old man who died in the crash.
The two other victims—a man and a woman—were in a Ford Mustang and were both 20 years old, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Three people in a third vehicle involved in the collision declined medical treatment.
AIR7 was over the scene as a large section of the street was closed off, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
