The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced plans to transform Nigeria’s political landscape through its four core leadership pillars character, competence, courage, and discipline.

Speaking at the inaugural meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja on Tuesday, the National Chairman, Senator David Mark, said the values are non-negotiable and will guide all members and leaders of the party.

Mark explained that the pillars will shape ADC’s internal operations, political culture, and decision-making process as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.

He stated that the party’s vision goes beyond the pursuit of political power, stressing that its ultimate goal is to build a legacy of integrity and service that future generations can proudly inherit.

Unveiling a new political blueprint, the ADC chairman said citizens’ welfare would remain the centrepiece of all its policies.

According to him, the blueprint is anchored on “the supremacy of rules over personalities, transparency through independent annual audits, and the prioritisation of merit above loyalty.”

Mark added that Nigerians are weary of empty slogans and superficial reforms, insisting that ADC’s new direction signifies “a return to the fundamentals of good governance, where leaders lead by example and public trust is sacred.”
