Dear Sir,

REPORTS OF ABUSE OF POWER BY OBA ADESIYAN JOSEPH SUNDAY AND PASSIONATE PLEA FOR IMMEDIATE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION FOR PEACE IN IHUNBO LAND.

I hereby wish to inform the Government of Ogun State about the unfortunate situation in Ihunbo town of Ipokia Local Government Area of the State.

The incumbent king of the land has presently usurped power to himself by taking over the massive lands of our fathers, which have been the major source of income for us as orphans and widows.

At the commencement of his wicked acts, every attempt then in reporting him at the Divisional Police Office at Idiroko, yield no fruitful results due to the influence from his supporters that forced his kingship over the town.

As at today Saturday 16th November, 2024, the king, Adesiyan Joseph Sunday had forcefully taken over the lands that belong to Isale Okoro indigenes with the assistance of some natives of the land who are retired Police Officers and some serving officers including their thugs.

Since Thursday, 14th November 2024, he has set his boys on the mission to kidnap me because of my leading role in challenging his atrocities.

The king applied his previous method of arrest, but now through the So Safe Corps at Idiroko. The Divisional Officer released me after interrogation.

The king was not pleased with that, and since then, his thugs have been on the mission to get me kidnapped to his so-called palace.

I have reported the attempt to kidnap me to the Civil Defence Officer at Ihunbo. Many elders have been contacted about the hardships the king has subjected our aged mothers to, but no solution is recorded.

Despite the ongoing local government elections, his men are busy on the farm, destroying the cash crops of our forefathers that have been the source of our daily living.

Large numbers of palm trees that we get palm oils from have been uprooted, cocoa and kolanut trees not left out. Massive deforestation is in progress on our fathers’ farmland at the authority of the king.

All our efforts to stop him proved abortive as his council of chiefs could not advise him because of his overriding power and authority.

Your Excellency Sir, we passionately plead for your immediate intervention by calling this King Adesiyan Sunday 08089470458 to order.

The actions and administration of this king are highly inimical to the growth and development of Ihunbo land.

As we know that it is not within our power to dethrone him; we believe that you are in the best position to call him to order to desist from abuse of power and release the lands he has forcefully taken over to the rightful owners.

I am looking forward to your quick response and intervention.

Yours faithfully,
E-signed
