Lagos – A man has been crushed to death by a moving train in Nigeria’s Lagos, police said.
The incident reportedly happened near Arena Shopping Mall in Oshodi area of the southwestern State.
Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command said in a statement that the Mosafejo Division of the command was notified of the incident around 1:33 pm, and a team of detectives were dispatched to the scene.
“The scene was visited and photographed by a team of detectives,” Hundeyin said, adding, “The corpse was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.”
Hundeyin further confirmed that the case had been transferred to the Railway Police Command in Ebute Metta for further investigation.
