Joint Condolence Statement
Yoruba Nation Youth
01/10/2024
We, Prophet Adele Ologunloluwa and Comrade Oyegunle Oluwamayowa Omotoyole (OMAYOR), on behalf of the Yoruba Nation Youth, both at home and in the diaspora, strongly condemn the gruesome murder
of Jagun Igbaja Owode, Kwara State.
We are deeply saddened and outraged by the senseless killing of this brave warrior, who was kidnapped and brutally murdered by Fulani herdsmen on September 30, 2024.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and community of the deceased. May his soul rest in peace.
We demand:
1. Immediate investigation and
prosecution of the perpetrators.
2. Increased security measures to
protect Yoruba lives and properties.
3. Justice and compensation for the
victim’s family.
We will not tolerate continued violence
against our people. We stand united in our quest for self-determination and
security.
*Afenifere ni, afeniwa ni.*
(We are united, and our unity will not
be broken.)
