Yoruba Nation Youth Leaders Strongly Condemn and Demand Justice for Akure and Ondo Communities

Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa and Comrade Oyegunle Oluwamayowa Omotoyole, aka Omayor, leaders of the Yoruba Nation youth, both at home and in the diaspora, have demanded justice for the communities affected by the recent bandit attack in Akure and Ondo.

The attack, which occurred on March 10, 2025, resulted in the loss of multiple lives, including farmers and the displacement of many others. The youth leaders described the attack as “heinous” and “cowardly” and called on the authorities to take immediate action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“We are deeply saddened and outraged by this senseless attack on our people,” said Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa. “We urge the government to take concrete steps to prevent such attacks in the future and to ensure that our communities are protected and secure.”

Comrade Oyegunle Oluwamayowa Omotoyole, aka Omayor, added, “We will not be silenced or intimidated by these attacks. We will continue to speak out against injustice and demand our rights as a people.”

The youth leaders also called on the international community to pay attention to the plight of the Yoruba people and to support their struggle for self-determination and security.

“We are one people, with one destiny,” said Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa. “We will not be defeated by these attacks. We will rise up, stronger and more united than ever, to demand our rights and to build a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.”

The youth leaders have vowed to continue their struggle for justice and self-determination despite the challenges and obstacles they face. They have called on all Yoruba people, both at home and in the diaspora, to unite and support their cause.
